
Services Provided
The Ron-Kare program consists of six (6) treatments per year for turf and five (5) treatments for trees and shrubs, and four (4) treatments for perimeter pest control. Specific products, rates of application and method of application will vary with the season, weather conditions and the needs of your landscape as determined by us. Ron-Kare makes no warranty express or implied about the safety of products used for the control of weeds, insects, diseases or fertilizers which may be used. However, all control products used by Ron-Kare are E.P.A. registered, have passed extensive product testing and are applied according to label directions by certified and/or registered Ron-Kare Customer Service Representatives.
Timing of Treatments
Ron-Kare is responsible for scheduling and timely treatments. The Spring treatment is made in March, April or early May based on weather and property location. The late Spring treatment is made in May or June. The Summer treatment is made in July or August. The late Summer treatment is made in August or September. The Fall treatment is made in September or October. The Winter Fertilizer Treatment is made in October or November. Treatments are generally made at four (4) to six (6) week intervals. You will be notified of alternative dates if there is any variance in this schedule.
To enhance your service and our ability to address the needs of your landscape, Ron-Kare will use its best efforts to call you in advance of treatment. We may not be able to reach you due to your work, vacations or absence. You understand that unless you specifically request that we call you in advance, that doing so is not a required part of this agreement. You may, however, inform us as to a day in the week in which you don't want us to come, such as the day your lawn is being cut.
Service Calls
It normally will take a period of time and multiple treatments for best results to be attained. Continuous treatments then provide for proper maintenance of your landscape. The best response will depend of the condition of your landscape prior to our beginning and whether the landscape is watered and properly maintained. After that, continuous Ron-Kare care will provide your landscape with proper nutrition.
If a problem arises or you believe that a treatment was ineffective, call the office. We will address your concerns at the time of your next regularly scheduled treatment or, if necessary, schedule a special visit to your property.
When you sign up for Ron-Kare service, we buy our materials and plan our production routes for your benefit. Our results over time are a function of continuous non-interrupted service. Accordingly, if you skip a treatment we cannot honor our guarantee.
Guarantee
Please follow our landscape management recommendations and give the program of treatments a reasonable period of time to produce results. Having done so, and based on continuous non-interrupted service, Ron-Kare guarantees these services (except under drought conditions). Then if you're not completely satisfied, call us within 15 days of treatment and we will make necessary reapplications at no additional cost or refund the cost of your last application.
Please note: Some Ron-Kare treatments utilize products with a label requirement for watering in. You agree that if the information left at your door following treatments by Ron-Kare instructs you to water-in that treatment, you will do so.
Payment Terms
After each treatment you will receive your invoice along with other information at the door. The invoice is due payable at this time. On cancellation of service, all unpaid invoices are immediately due and payable. Once this agreement is canceled by you, Ron-Kare has no further service liabilities under the terms of the guarantee.
If at any time we have to re-bill you due to late payment, a $2.00 charge will be added to your account.
An annual prepayment discount option offer will be made to you. For 2010, it is 10%.
Prepayment is not required. You may either prepay or pay after each treatment as outlined above.
